A family run business of civil and structural engineers established in 1983 that offer a personal and dedicated service to each Client. We aim to understand and deliver on Client expectations, meet the project objectives to provide robust engineering solutions with quality and value, within budget and on time.
Partner: Derek Lofty, CEng. FIStructE
Derek specialises in structural engineering and has worked with Commercial and Domestic Clients on projects from small domestic alterations right through to multi unit housing developments and commercial projects. Derek enjoys an excellent reputation with the Local Authorities. DLA’s excellent reputation locally rests on his field of experience within the construction industry particularly within the domestic market. Derek has a wealth of knowledge and is experienced most forms of construction.
Partner: Adrian Lofty, BEng. (Hons.) CEng. MIStructE
Adrian graduated as a civil engineer from Strathclyde University and has worked on high profile commercial projects, heavy Industry sites including manufacturing and refining. Adrian specialises in civil and structural engineering projects with a keen interest in efficient solutions, communication and smooth delivery of all services, on time and on budget.
Technical Staff All work is overseen by Chartered Structural Engineers. We currently employ 4 engineers, a Technician and 2 Administrators.
